Who is this trip for?

An overnight stay at Coco Island gives you time to rest during a Mekong Delta trip. This suggested itinerary can be adapted for travel from Ho Chi Minh City, My Tho or the Ben Tre area. Set your departure time according to your starting point.

This is a planning guide, not an inclusive tour or package. Rooms, meals, admission, boats and activities must be confirmed separately with the team for your dates.

Day 1: arrive and settle in

Before you leave

Confirm your room, guest count, total price and expected arrival time. If travelling by car, go to the old Rach Mieu ferry terminal on the Ben Tre bank and contact staff to coordinate boat pickup. The pickup point is different from the homestay location.

Afternoon: stay at Coco Island

Check-in starts at 14:00. Put away your luggage, rest and take a stroll around the grounds. If you arrive earlier, discuss arrangements with staff. Early check-in adds one day of accommodation and requires confirmation of availability.

Evening: dinner and time to rest

Ask staff in advance about dining options, service times and the day’s menu. Arrange meals early for a family or a larger group. Afterwards, enjoy a quiet evening in your room.

Day 2: explore and return

Arrange breakfast according to your confirmed services, then choose an activity that fits the time available. The official Con Phung Tourism website introduces the Dao Dua architectural site, Coconut Museum, river excursions and local cultural programmes. Confirm schedules, fees and meeting points before joining.

Check out before 12:00 and agree your departure arrangements with staff. If you plan to explore after checking out, ask about luggage and pickup first. Late check-out adds one day of accommodation and must be agreed in advance.

Choose your room for your actual guest count

Double, VIP and Honeymoon rooms accommodate up to 2 guests each. Family rooms accommodate up to 4 guests with 1 standard bed; discuss sleeping arrangements before confirming. Larger groups should request multiple rooms rather than exceed a room’s capacity.

Budget and packing

• Budget separately for accommodation, meals, transport and activities. Ask what is included in your confirmation.
• Room rates are discounted by 30% for Monday–Thursday nights, except full holiday and Tet periods and adjacent days in the Coco Island price calendar.
